 26,226 Individuals experienced displacement at least once From 1 January to 20 December 2025, according to latest update published by International Migration Organization (IOM) Yemen Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tool.

Between 14 and 20 December 2025, the update noticed that 185 households (1110 individuals) displaced at least once. The majority of people moved into/within Marib, Shabwah, Hadramout , Ibb and Al Hodiedah governorates.

These figures have been added to the cumulative displacement total recorded since the beginning of the year.

DTM’s Rapid Displacement Tracking (RDT) tool collects and reports on numbers of households forced to flee on a daily basis, allowing for regular reporting of new displacements in terms of numbers, geography and needs. 

The update mentioned that DTM Yemen is unable to report on figures in some governorates due to access limitations.

It is estimated that since 2014 there are 4.8 million internally displaced persons (IDPs in Yemen, mostly women and children, many living in overcrowded sites or rental housing.
