Houthi rebels Court sentences eight to death for “espionage, aiding enemy”

A Houthi rebels’ control court in Sana’a convicted eight people of espionage and sentenced them to death on Wednesday. They are: Mohammed Ali Ahmed Al-Baalloul, Mohsen Qasim Abdo Al-Muqtri, Abdulrahman Ahmed Fath Shaker, Saddam Sadiq Maslah Al-Sayadi,  Ali Saleh Masaad Al-Amari, Ahmed Khaled Mohammed Ali Al-Zarari, Aref Abdullah Abdo Saeed Al-Qudsi, and Suleiman Ahmed Mahyoub Mughlis Al-Qudsi.

The court also ordered to confiscate cameras, mobile phones, and SIM cards used by the defendants.

The court further convicted Humair Ali Saad Al-Siyani of espionage with a foreign state and aiding the enemy, sentencing him to 15 years in prison, along with confiscation of tracking and surveillance devices, mobile phones, and vehicles used in committing the crimes.

Earlier on November 2025 A Houthi-run court in Sana'a convicted 17 people of spying for foreign governments and sentenced them to death
