The United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has designated Sama Airline, a dormant Yemeni company which purports to be an airline, for its alleged ties to the Houthi rebels.
The company was incorporated in 2023 and claims on its website to be backed by "100% Yemeni capital", under the regulations of the Yemeni Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, and purportedly with an A320-200 fleet. However, no further information is available, and the company, apart from its website, does not appear to be active.
